1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website asks your browser to store on your device. They can be read back on later visits and are commonly used to keep a session open, remember preferences, measure audience or build advertising profiles. Similar technologies, such as local storage, web beacons and tracking pixels, serve comparable purposes and are treated the same way in this policy.
Under Italian and European rules, cookies that are strictly necessary to deliver a service explicitly requested by the user do not require consent. All other cookies, including analytics that are not properly anonymised and any form of profiling, require prior consent given through a banner.
2. Cookies used by this website
This is a static presentation website. It has no login area, no shopping basket, no contact form and no audience-measurement tool. No cookies are set by CMI, and no profiling or advertising technology is installed.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which serves these pages as static files and sets no cookies for them. Should a security feature that relies on a strictly necessary technical cookie ever be activated — for example protection against automated attacks — that cookie would serve only to deliver the site safely, would not require consent, and would be listed here.
3. External resources and services
3.1 Google Fonts (loaded automatically)
The typeface used on this site is requested from Google’s content delivery network when a page loads. Google Fonts does not set cookies, but the request necessarily discloses your IP address, the page you are viewing and basic browser information to Google, which may process it outside the European Economic Area.
3.2 Services reached only when you click
The following services are not loaded with the page and receive no information about you unless you actively choose to open them. Once you do, their own privacy and cookie policies apply.
| Service | When it is reached | Provider policy |
|---|---|---|
| Microsoft Bookings | When you click “Book a free 30-minute call”, you are taken to Microsoft’s scheduling page, which sets its own cookies | privacy.microsoft.com |
| When you click the LinkedIn button or link in the footer, which opens the profile in a new tab | linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy | |
| Your e-mail client | When you click “E-mail me”, which opens a message in the application installed on your device | Policy of your own e-mail provider |
No social plug-ins, embedded videos, chat widgets, heat maps or advertising pixels are installed on this website.
4. Why there is no consent banner
A consent banner is required when a website installs cookies or similar technologies that go beyond what is strictly necessary. Since this site installs no analytics, profiling or advertising technology, there is nothing for you to consent to, and displaying a banner would be misleading rather than helpful.
If an audience-measurement or marketing tool is added in the future, a compliant consent banner will be introduced at the same time: no non-essential cookie will be installed before you have expressed a choice, refusing will be as easy as accepting, and this policy will be updated accordingly.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
You can inspect, block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent some sites from working correctly, though it will not affect this one.
- Chrome — Settings › Privacy and security › Third-party cookies
- Safari — Settings › Privacy › Manage website data
- Firefox — Settings › Privacy & Security › Cookies and Site Data
- Edge — Settings › Cookies and site permissions
Most browsers also offer a private browsing mode, which discards cookies at the end of the session.
6. Changes to this policy
This policy is updated whenever a new tool or external resource is introduced. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with its date shown below.
