Do you want to look into a particular business question?

A Bespoke Analytical Diagnostic is designed around a specific business question defined with the client. The analytical scope, required data and outputs are adapted to the decision the business needs to support. A previous CMI diagnostic is not required.

  • What is happening within a specific category?
  • Which category is most likely to follow a particular first purchase?
  • How did a promotional period affect customer quality?
  • Which customer groups are driving a performance change?
  • Why are selected campaigns generating high cancellations, low realised revenue or weak repeat behaviour?
Discuss a bespoke question

Do you want a recurring analysis on your business performance?

Recurring Monitoring can be activated as a standalone service, included within an analytical engagement or added after a standard or bespoke diagnostic. The cadence and outputs are adapted to the business need: weekly, monthly, quarterly, rolling-period or custom.

Recurring monitoring does not automatically include a full diagnostic deck or readout call. The delivery format is defined in the agreed scope.

FAQ

Common questions before starting.

What data do you need?

The requirements depend on the diagnostic or business question. Typical inputs include order and order-line history, stable customer identifiers, order dates and outcomes, product and category information, sales channels, country or market fields and available discount, refund, return or cancellation data. Acquisition work may also require source, campaign and advertising-platform exports.

My data is disorganised or incomplete. Is that a problem?

This is common. Every engagement begins with a data-feasibility and quality review. You do not need to build a perfect analytical dataset before the project begins. Missing identifiers, limited history or incomplete campaign matching may restrict some outputs, and any limitations will be explained before the final scope is confirmed.

Do I need to buy new software?

No. The analysis is developed in my analytical environment using the agreed data exports. You receive the final deliverables and working files without needing to purchase the software I use to produce them.

What will I receive?

The output depends on the engagement. It may include a consulting-style PDF diagnostic, Excel exports, customer- or campaign-level working files, methodology and metric definitions, and a readout call. Recurring monitoring may instead focus on refreshed files, updated lists and selected analytical views.

How long does a diagnostic take?

Most standard diagnostics are completed within two to four weeks after the data-feasibility review is complete and the required data has been received. Bespoke diagnostics and recurring work follow a timeline agreed around the scope, data complexity and required outputs.

How do I know which service is right for my business?

The initial call is used to understand the business question, available data and required output. I will recommend a standard diagnostic, a bespoke diagnostic or recurring monitoring only where it is appropriate.

Can the analysis be refreshed regularly?

Yes. Recurring monitoring can be set up weekly, monthly, quarterly, on a rolling period or at a custom cadence. It can be standalone, included from the beginning or activated after a standard or bespoke diagnostic.

Can you work with imperfect campaign attribution?

Yes, within the limits of the available evidence. The depth and confidence of campaign-level analysis depend on source and campaign identifiers, customer matching, sample size and the maturity of post-acquisition outcomes. Low-confidence areas are identified rather than treated as conclusive.

How do you protect confidential data?

An NDA can be signed before data is shared. Data is transferred through an agreed secure channel, accessed only for the defined engagement and handled according to the agreed retention or deletion process. A data-processing or security annex can be used where required.
